RadioDAZZ Music Break: Sam Cooke - "Bring It On Home To Me"

Share this ARTICLE with your colleagues on LinkedIn .

Sam Cooke with a beautiful classic about love, neglect, loss, regret, and a petition for the return of a woman whom he took for granted until she finally walked away and didn't look back. Simple, memorable lyrics, hummable melody and wonderful, simple vocal harmony in warm thirds.

This song always conjures up a picture in my mind of two half-drunk old buddies sitting next to each other on a subway car in the lamentable part of January when retropect reigns.
