I discovered this Bobby Womack song only eight years ago, at a very difficult ime in my life. It is truly soulful, with Bobby pouring his heart out against a beautiful, repeating chorus of "If You Think You're Lonely Now..."
The theme is common enough, but done so artfully, with such serious lament -- a man has taken all of the insults and complaining that he can take from the woman he loves; a woman who is just not satisfied with him.
Relax and let the hypnotic refrain carry you into the alpha zone for a wonderful, funky break from your labors.
A sweet sound for y'all out there.
