But nonetheless, I believe (deep in my striated tissue of my left pectoralis majoris, that if you listen to this song hourly, at least four times daily, It will get your pulse racing, increase your level of physical and psychic energy and cause a wave of total pleasure to course through your body.
While this brilliantly written, arranged, orchestrated, performed and produced song was never given sufficient airplay, I think it is one of their very best. When I first heard it, the telltale signs and symptoms were all there...gooseflesh on my arms -- hair standing up on the back of my neck -- a chill through my spine -- redness in my face (as I was told by my friend at the time, Seth). The desperation and persistent pulse of the music was so exciting as to be erotic. The chord scheme (and the non-tonic descending bass line) are, incidentally derived from Afro-Cuban musical styles. Of course, I didn't know this at the time...
Please listen, burn a few calories, and savor the "whole body rush" of music that was written from deep inside the writers' the hearts to connect with yours. Let this song pnetrate your every pore.
