Love it. After "The Letter," the Boxtops came out with this one.
The singer sounds a lot like Joe South ("The Games People Play"), and the sound of the electric sitar, organ and bass line bring to mind a B.J. Thomas arrangement. Great singing in a classic rock and roll single. Just listen to all of effects, and couterpoint instrumental harmonies... It's a find!
