Please put on your platform shoes, bellbottoms, drugstore perfume or cologne, turn up the volume, close your eyes and sway.
Terrific song, great riffs, rich instrumentation and that disco pulse that kept my heart in sync when it was so much wiser than my brain. Heck - You know what I mean.
She was up there with Donna Summer, Evelyn Champagne King, Freda Payne and a host (or hostess) of others. Please -- mercy, sakes, get her a slot on that list of disco Greats. This performance deserves it. Candi -- wherever you are...I'm calling out to all of you fans who never got to know your name but danced to your fine, fine music.
