--------------------------- Ooah O! -----------------------------------

"Video Killed The Radio Star" was the very first music video on television. It aired on MTV. My friends and I thought it was fun. We didn't know that beautiful, heartfelt soulful singing, screaming guitars, rich Hammond Organ, and fantastic cascading full-chord harmonies, as well as indelible meolodies, had become an endangered species. Damn. You'll excuse me if I don't thank the Ruggles. Was it the Ruggles? Ooah O!

Click on the big buttons below for a taste (and maybe a bit of a distaste) for what passes for contemporary music. Too much marketing and video, and not enough "musical contagion" and listening with eyes closed and using the magical muscle of romantic imagination. Ah, well. Then it might have been just my imagination running away with me... Uncle DAZZ
