This is one of the very best live performances by America of their chartbusting hit, "Sister Golden Hair." Rehearsed to perfection and performed flawlessly, this version was played on Burt Sugarman's legendary Midnight Special. It is Top - 40 magic -- filled with raw energy, the spirit of life, optimism and rock 'n roll. Key of E, lots of open strings, a cartload of country-western accented twang, and driving harmony.

I had to be careful to adhere to the 65 mph speed limit when this song came on the radio in my vintage Mustang.

DEDICATION (and APOLOGY)
