I am a Roger Daltrey fan. He is a throat sacrificing rocker from the cradle of real riotous rock. He's made some amazing recordings with The Who, most of which are absolutely heart-pounding, knock-you-out-of-breath, sing-along loud bar songs. Artful. Pure. Iconic. No pretense. Little guy -- powerfully rebellious voice.

This song never gained much traction, but it shows a great deal of delicacy not often experienced in Daltrey's exhaustive (and exhausting) catalogue.
