Image via WikipediaDavid Foster is one of this world's most brilliant writers, keyboardists and arrangers. This song, "Wildflower," was performed by Skylark (an early music work in which David was coming into bloom). The song came out when I was in college. It felt sacred, romantic and a great many of my macho classmates had to sniff back tears.There is some video footage of David and his former wife in this rare clip. The sound is record quality, clean, clear, crisp and indelible. If you've heard it before, you'd be struck with the memory.
If you're hearing it for the first time, play it more than once, and then try to keep it from echoing through the corridors of your mind. It's wonderful. Embedding of the video was restricted, but if you click on the link, you'll get to see it.
