What can I say about the Ohio Players? -- their funky, urban ghetto style was a cross between Earth Wind And Fire and The Brothers Johnson. Some of their best singles (in the late 1970's up until the middle 1980's) included "Love Rollercoaster, "Sweet Sticky Thing,"I Want To Be Free," and, of course "Skintight" -- their answer to Lionel Richie's "Brick House."
You've just got to love the feverish fire engines, alarms and other sound effects which gave this band a true street temperature.
