Barenaked Ladies: They have made Geek Chiq, intellect sexy and allegory cool.
I think these guys are great. As I longtime fan, I've watched them become less introverted, obscure and dark (in their references to less than ideal social situations -- like not being popular at your high school, being the last guy picked for a sports team when they're choosing up sides, being afraid to ask any girl for a date... kind of like they way I was until I was possessed of the spirit of Uncle DAZZ) and seen them let the music, the harmonies, the magic flow.
Their theme song for the Big Bang Theory is clever (especially when you get all of the lyrics -- I've put them into a post before) and appropriately forced, but some of their other, simpler "sing-along" songs are fabulous.
