Hall and Oates had a string of hits that brought the middle-late 1970s to the early-middle 1980s non-alternative pop, and non-disco radio to life.
They had a DAZZlingly bright sound, clean. clear harmonies, songs with unforgettable refrains (or in some cases, the verses rang out as if they were refrains), great lyrics, and a lot about love -- the good kind, the bad-good kind and the ugly kind. The instrumentation was as varied as it was perfect and precise -- from funky distortion to romantic vibraphone and sensitive, crying guitar licks.
Here's a RadioDAZZ sampler of a few of my favorites from Daryl Hall and John Oates.
Click and enjoy. Be suffused with pleasure, my friends.

I think I'd best be gettin' home now. Then again, there's no going home to the past -- Because you'd moved out before you knew you'd even hunger for it...
Man. That hurts. Nope. I can't go for that. No can do.
